Victory Gamers AoS Battles

 I'm in the middle of painting a Disciples of Tzeentch army, including these models completed since the start of Animosity VIII.

Marshall Makari joined his forces with other Devils near Bhaal-Irama, and took a patrol to search out the mobile labs of the Warhorde. As they moved through the jungle at the pace of Cogfort Kapros, Marshall Gorgos returned from aerial recognizance. “Maggotkin ahead,” he spoke tersely, “and ones I recognize too. Fought them right after we came to this hellhole.” “Maggotlord Joachim, then,” Maraki noted, remembering the dossiers he had prepared for his High-Marshall from collected Starfall Devil intelligence. “We know they are working with Morfiend. With luck, we can scare them back to the laboratories.” The force marched forward, forming an arrowhead with Kapros as the point. Before them they saw not the loping ranks of Rotswords they expected, but instead a lone wyvern, similar to those of the Wyrdspine mountains.  Marshal Makari and Wurrgog Prophet Shaka take their joint forces through the jungle around the Stomach Pit the Bonesplitterz once guarded, stopping mid-way between two bridges. Shaka then manifested two enormous green hands, one holding the Cogfort Kapros, the other holding the tribe’s Rogue Idol and a throng of boyz. The armies sailed over the gap and charged through the undefended quarter of the village, breaking open a stone paddock wall and engaging with the Womb-Gut ranchers of the reptilian monsters kept there. Kapros’s flame cannon kept the beasts at bay while the Idol smashed out the other side, and Makari led his Freeguilders into the breach to find the slave quarters, where they were happy to find remnants of the Sons of Thunder. Makari made the decision to abandon attempting to find the Maw-Wife, but instead used his Steelhelms to get as many of the duardin free and back to the Hands of Gork, where they could be released from bondage.  As the Expeditionary Force ...

The Expeditionary Force of the Free City of Thermodon had set out for the Eight Points, using the Ur-River to navigate the vastness between the Realmspheres. To make sense of those arcane waterways, Grand Marshall Lykos took a contract with the Dawnguard of Eklysium, with the understanding that the Expedition would allow the Dawnguard to carry out a certain amount of reliquaries recovered from the wreckage of the Xo'axtu.  The good ship Paralos navigated the river and took flight upon reaching the Eight Points, avoiding Everchosen patrols through the skill of their Dawnguard guides. They made for a nearby valley, as the Grand Marshall was keen to discharge their responsibilities to the Azyrites as quickly as possible.   Marshall Althas Makari embarked upon the Cogfort Kapros and set out to understand the terrain.
